Montessori Education and Language Immersion?

Language Immersion

Native Mandarin and Spanish speaking teachers speak 100% in their native language. Children learn organically in an authentic language environment.  Teachers also sing, read books and instruct their target language daily in Circle Time. Amici also supports the Montessori curriculum with a monthly thematic unit that teaches Mandarin and Spanish culture, language and vocabulary.

Montessori Education

Montessori education is a child-centered approach developed by Dr. Maria Montessori. Emphasizing self-directed learning, mixed-age classrooms, and hands-on activities, our daycare in Ahwatukee fosters independence, curiosity, and holistic development. Educators serve as guides, allowing children to choose activities from a prepared environment. Materials are specially designed to be multisensory, sequential, and self-correcting, promoting self-discovery. The Montessori method values individuality, believing that children learn best when engaged in purposeful, meaningful activities at their own pace.
